10.2 Add Fields

In EDA we can add two kinds of field.One is project level field and another one is Department level field.A project level field will be applicable for all the files in a project.And a department level field will be applicable for all the project in a department.For a department level field we don’t need to create field for projects separately.It will be applicable for all the projects under a department.The required fields to add a Field are :Field name,Field description and Field type,.Once we fill up the form properly,we can create Field.

Default value

If we check the option This field is mandatory,then we have to input a default value for the field type selected.

Department level field

If we want to create a Department level field then we have to check the option Department level field.In this case Current department is mandatory.

Project level field

If we want to create a Project level field then we have to check the option Project level field.In this case Current department and Current project is mandatory.
